L’ECLATANTE REUSSITE DE L’ECOLE NATIONALE DU CIRQUE DE MONTREAL
célébrée à Domont avec un exceptionnel numéro acrobatique exécuté par des artistes déjà applaudies au Cirque du Soleil et au Cirque Eloize
Le duo SCARLETTE constitué de deux jeunes femmes nous offre un travail au cadre aérien en forme d’hymne à la sensualité féminine.
Les deux corps se rattrapent, s’entrelacent, se séparent en dessinant dans l’espace des figures dont la précision chorégraphique n’écarte pas le danger.
Un magnifique poème saphique pour rêver hors du temps.

KNIE PRODUIT DES PHOTOS EN 3D!
Une équipe professionnelle d'une quinzaine de personnes appartenant aux maisons de production DOCMINE, ENCORE et KAMERAWERK a introduit la troisième dimension dans l'iconographie du Cirque Knie. En préparation à un projet plus ambitieux, des tests ont été tournés avec un matériel à la pointe de la technique dans le chapiteau et autour des roulottes. Les premiers résultats sont renversants! Imaginez la trompe d'un éléphant qui sort de l'écran à la rencontre du public... ou un artiste qui se balance sur son fil en 3D.
Ceux qui possèdent des lunettes 3D peuvent s'en faire une première idée en regardant les 4 dernières images de notre galerie photos. Cette série d'images vous offre aussi quelques impressions du tournage.

Une exposition autour du Sirque de Nexon par le photographe Philippe Laurençon
Après une première exposition sur les affiches qui ont marquées l’histoire du Sirque de Nexon, une seconde exposition s’installe dans le Hall de l’Hôtel de Région, du 25 juillet au 19 août avec 18 photographies signées Philippe Laurençon. À cette occasion, un vernissage aura lieu le mercredi 27 juillet à 17h00, dans le Grand Salon de l’Hôtel de Région, en présence de Jean-Paul Denanot, Philippe Laurençon et des représentants du Pôle Cirque de Nexon

International Circus Festival “City of Latina”: the suspense increases whilst we await the latest news about this edition
Meanwhile the cast continues to grow as more performers are added to this international competition
The number of acts officially participating in the 13th International Circus Festival “City of Latina” reaches 17 today with the two new names announced by the Production Offices. These are the French Illusionist Vincent Vignaud and Emil Faltyny from the Czech Republic, with a freestanding ladder number.

Vincent Vignaud was born in Mulhouse (France) in 1983. In his native city he attended Circus School from early childhood, and made his début as a performer at the age of nine. Even at a very young age, his fascination with illusionism caused him to experiment with magic tricks. Today Vincent Vignaud is one of the youngest illusionists in Europe, and he has 12 big illusion numbers in his repertoire. Each illusion is presented with different music, choreography and special effects.
Emil Faltyny is an eighth-generation Circus performer from the Czech Republic. Emil started working with the unicycle at seven years of age, and has travelled all around the world with his family. Whilst in Las Vegas he started to train with the freestanding ladder, going on to invent his own distinctive zig-zag ladder. A huge cube, two separate ladders and his specially-designed zig-zag ladder are the main components of this acrobatic number that Emil performs to a particularly absorbing musical soundtrack.

Russia continues to enrich the cast of the Festival
Exactly three months from the opening of its 13th edition, the International Circus Festival “City of Latina” adds two new acrobatic numbers to the programme, both hailing from Russia.
Judging by the countries of origin of the over 400 entries that have hereto reached the production offices of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina”, Russia continues to be one of the countries in which the tradition of Circus arts is the most manifest: all of the performers to be officially added today to the competition are Russian. Representing the prestigious Moscow State Circus “Bolshoi”, the Troupe Vavilov will be presenting two separate acrobatic numbers at Latina. The inaugural evening of the thirteenth Festival will take place in exactly three months’ time, on Thursday, October 13th at 9pm, in the Festival complex which will be set up in the usual location in via Rossetti.
The number performed by the Troupe Vavilov is entitled “Vaulting Acrobats”. The six performers from Russia are taking part in the festival as representatives of the prestigious Moscow State Circus “Bolshoi”. Led by Vladimir Vavilov, an artist who has been recognized by the Russian Ministry of Culture for his artistic merits, the Troupe Vavilov performs a “banquine” number, which is an acrobatic discipline. The skill of the artists and the spectacular nature of their performance are enhanced by the partnership created for the occasion between the Russian acrobats and a group of six dancers from the “Bolshoi Circus”.
“Acrobats on a swinging platform” is the title of the second performance of the Troupe Vavilov, an “aerial acrobatics” number. Ruslan, Andrei, Vladimir E. and Alexey all have a strong athletic background: all of Vladimir Vavilov’s performers took up artistic careers after training in gymnastic disciplines and sports, which some of them perfected whilst serving in the Russian Armed Forces. A swinging platform at the centre of the circus ring provides an extra dynamic to this energetic performance.

UN CAMION DU CIRQUE GRUSS DETRUIT PAR LE FEU
Saint-Martin-d’Estréaux. Le chauffeur a eu le réflexe de détacher la remorque qui contenait des bâches en plastique
Hier après-midi, vers 14 h 30, une colonne de soixante véhicules du cirque Arlette-Gruss, venant du Mans, se dirigeait sur Tournon-sur-Rhône par la Nationale 7. Arrivé au lieu-dit « Villars » sur la déviation de Saint-Martin-d’Estréaux, dans le Roannais, un camion attelé d’une remorque prenait feu.
Le chauffeur avait la présence d’esprit de dételer la remorque qui contenait des bâches en plastique et d’éloigner le camion qui était chargé, lui, de barrières métalliques.
Les sapeurs-pompiers de La Pacaudière, sous les ordres du lieutenant Richard Bayon, aussitôt sur les lieux, se rendaient maîtres du sinistre dont le feu commençait à attaquer le talus de la Nationale 7.
Les gendarmes de La Pacaudière, sous les ordres du maréchal des logis-chef Roland Chapuis, mettaient en place une circulation alternée. L’épave du camion était ensuite enlevée par les soins du garage Lavenir de La Pacaudière.

FESTIVAL DU VAL D'OISE: UNE AUTRE GRANDE TROUPE RUSSE.
« LES SKOKOV »
L’UNE DES PLUS PRESTIGIEUSES TROUPES D’ACROBATES RUSSES
est au programme du 12ème Festival International du Cirque du Val d’Oise.
La plupart des artistes qui composent cette troupe se sont illustrés en 2007 au Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo sous le nom des DOMCHYN et se sont vus décernés à cette occasion un clown d’argent.
Leurs incroyables sauts périlleux réalisés d’une balançoire à l’autre s’accompagnent d’une présentation audacieuse inspirée de l’esprit novateur qui anime le cirque russe d’aujourd’hui.
Ce nouvel ensemble qui associe des artistes renommés à des athlètes de haut niveau se produira pour la première fois en Europe.
