The International Circus Festival stars in photographic exhibition "Giochi di Equlibrio"
The International Circus Festival "City of Latina" immortalised in twenty black and white photographic images.
Part of the magic of the circus is its ability to fascinate people who would never have imagined themselves coming under the spell of the circus ring, with its colour and the wonderful emotions that it evokes. It happened to the great Fellini who, in some of his major works, managed to brilliantly portray the atmosphere of the circus. The same thing happened to the young pontine artist Daniele Bartolotta who, in the quality of photographer at previous editions of the International Circus Festival "City of Latina", caught these surprising images in twenty photographs.
Bartolotta's exhibition, "Giochi di Equilibrio" (Balancing Games) is open to the public until June 21st at the Gallery and Photographic School "Factory 10" in Via dei Boi 10, Latina.
"Bodies", says the artist, "merge with space and movement comes to life via a continuing balancing act between light and shade, evoking an atmosphere of times gone by".
The photographs on show at Latina, enhanced by high quality printing in black and white, manage to surpass the static dimension of photography, giving the images an unexpected and effective dynamism.Infos sur : http://www.factory10.it
