FESTIVAL DU VAL D'OISE: LE CANADA À L'HONNEUR
LE CANADA NATION INVITEE DU 12ème FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DU CIRQUE DU VAL D’OISE sera notamment représentée par Jade-Emmanuelle Amyot dans un numéro de tissu aérien.
Diplômée de L’École de danse de Québec en 2007, Jade-Emmanuelle Amyot a su utiliser ses talents de chorégraphe au profit des arts de la piste qu’elle sert avec passion.
L’esprit de création qui anime cette belle artiste aboutit à la présentation d’un numéro original où l’acrobatie aérienne associée à la danse provoquent un moment d’intense émotion.
Exécuté en duo avec son partenaire Vincent, ce numéro servi par un magnifique accompagnement musical est l’expression vivante de l’esprit créatif qui anime aujourd’hui les arts du cirque dans leur diversité.

Celebration of Russian language and culture in Italy in 2011
2011 has been proclaimed “Year of Italian language and culture in Russia and of Russian language and culture in Italy”. This event will also be celebrated in the Circus world within the thirteenth edition of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina”
The celebrations for the year of Russian language and culture in Italy were inaugurated on February 16th, 2011 at the ‘Palazzo delle Esposizioni’ in Rome, by Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and by the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitri Medvedev. The aim of the initiative is to promote the cultural heritage of both countries, drawing from the long and fruitful tradition of the exchange of ideas, and of firm achievements. Art, Cinema, Music, Dance, Theatre, Literature, Sport and Spirituality are the different areas in which a rich series of events will take place and be shared by Italy and Russia. The world of the Circus, with its strong tradition within Russian territory, will also be taking part in the 2011 celebrations: during the thirteenth edition of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina”, the historic Russian State Circus “Rosgoscirk” will present two spectacular acts: the first one is an acrobatic number entitled “Russian Fun”, performed by the Troupe Chernievsky. The number is characterized by choreography, music and costumes typical of the Russian Circus tradition. The second act will be presented by the Troupe Markins: their acrobatic number is dedicated to Italy in the form of a tribute to the great director, Federico Fellini. In keeping with the occasion, an invitation to the Gala and Awards Evening of the Festival has been extended to the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, Mr. Alexander Avdeev.

The feminine side of the Festival…
There will be a strong feminine presence at this year’s edition of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina”
Technique and skill combine with elegance and sensuality when there’s a woman at the centre of the Circus ring, and this is just what will happen at this year’s International Circus Festival “City of Latina”, where there will be a significant number of female performers. After last week’s announcement regarding the presence of the young Greek artist Anastasia with her “Cloudswing” number, the production team today officially announces the participation of two more female performers: the juggler Helena Kaiserova, and the acrobat Oxana on the “Aerial Straps”.
Helena Kaiserova is a twenty-one-year-old performer from the Czech Republic. Coming from a circus family, Helena has had the opportunity to learn numerous circus disciplines from a very young age, and over the years has developed her skills in her real passion, which is “juggling”. In her number, entitled “Football Juggler”, she juggles five footballs in an effective combination of technique, sensuality and beauty.
Oxana is a young Ukrainian performer who started her career in rhythmic gymnastics, going on to participate in numerous international competitions. Oxana began her artistic career in Spain in 2000, and since then has starred in many television shows around the world. In her “aerial straps” number, Oxana creates a special atmosphere, combining elegance with sensuality, but at the same time she displays her notable technical skills as she spins whilst hanging suspended by her ankles and wrists from four aerial straps.
The number of countries which will be represented at the International Circus Festival “City of Latina” increases week by week. Following the recent announcements regarding the participation of Romania, Greece, Italy, Hungary and Russia, today we can announce that the Republic of Cuba and Germany will also be represented.
This is the first time that the first seven numbers participating in the International Circus Festival “City of Latina” to be announced come from seven different countries. This is a clear indication that the “Artistic Commission” of the Festival is paying careful attention towards promoting the multicultural and international nature of this circus event.
Leosvel & Diosmani are two young performers from the Republic of Cuba. They are presenting a “chinese pole” number, an acrobatic discipline which involves the two artists climbing a six-metre vertical steel pole and then performing along it and maintaining poses. A classic part of the Chinese Pole act is the “flag” trick, which Leosvel and Diosman have reworked to provide a unique finale to their act, an ending which is performed by nobody else in the world. Symmetry and coordination, combined with energy and muscular strength are the key words to this very impressive number.
Danilo Marder, just twenty-one, is one of the youngest competitors to be taking part in this edition of the Festival. Born in Leipzig (Germany), Danilo trained in acrobatic sports from the age of six, gaining three national titles. He completed his studies at the State School of Dance and Acrobatic Arts in Berlin. The “hand balance” number he is presenting at Latina is called “A little bit of dark”, with a deliberately theatrical atmosphere that frames an elegant and strong performance.

LES KHUBAEV AU 12ème FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DU CIRQUE DU VAL D’OISE
Cette prodigieuse troupe d’acrobate russe est la plus belle illustration du métissage entre tradition et modernité. Les membres qui la composent sont issus du monde du cirque et de l’univers sportif de haut-niveau.
Le pari réussi d’Evgeny Shetsov, metteur en scène du cirque du Bolchoï, a été de fusionner ces deux mondes pour aboutir à la création d’un numéro techniquement performant et artistiquement novateur.
S’inspirant des défilés de mode et de la passerelle sur laquelle évoluent les mannequins, Evgeny Shetsov a imaginé un podium constitué de matériaux composites sur lequel les acrobates sont capables de réaliser des sauts impressionnants.
Les figures sont tellement rapides que la plupart des photos sont floues !

AU CIRQUE LYDIA ZAVATTA( DIRECTION CAPLOT): PORTRAIT D'UN CLOWN
Superbe portrait de Didier Frontini ( comme le cirque!). Le travail des cadres noir et blanc donne un effet de relief à la photo. Le jeu de lumières noir, blanc, rouge qui prédominent est bien pensé et le fond n'est pas un trucage mais la façade du cirque simplement. Enfin le buste de Joannes qui s'inscrit dans le demi cercle fait ressortir son visage radieux, observé en arrière plan par deux yeux grands ouverts.
Transfuge du cirque Star, Joannes se prépare à affronter le nord. En tournée tout l'été avec le cirque Lydia Zavatta, orchestré par la famille d'Adrien Caplot.

Le terrain de cirque de Братеево (Bratjeevo): Cirque-chapiteau "Inantep", dans la banlieue de Moscou, fait partie de Rosgocyrk.
Il y a une petite construction fixe (plutôt pour des séances occasionnelles) et on peut y monter un chapiteau (pour des séances en été). Les mâts restent toujours sur place.
Le Cirque Radouga à Moscou au parc de l'Amitié (парк Дружбы), rue Flotskaja, fait aussi partie de Rosgocyrk.
On y donne occasionnellement des spectacles de cirque et (normalement) une série de spectacles pendant l'été. Mais leur website ne fonctionne plus ...
