Introducing "Circus Expo"
"Circus Expo" is the name of a new addition to the list of events planned for the upcoming 12th International Circus Festival "City of Latina", which will take place between 14th -18th October 2010.
"Circus Expo" is a new initiative among the cultural events planned to coincide with the International Circus Festival at Latina. The purpose of this new project is to showcase various artworks and media that have as their inspiration the world of the circus, in the hope of broadening the appeal of the International Circus Festival to an even wider public.
"Circus Expo" will consist of a large tented structure with an internal exhibition space of 1000 sqm, located right next to the site of the International Circus Festival "City of Latina".
Within this exposition area, artists from varying fields will have the opportunity to exhibit their circus-themed creations. Photographic collections, paintings, sculptures, models and miniatures will be particularly welcome, along with other arts and crafts which evoke, represent or are inspired by the world of the circus.
Participation will be free: there will be no cost to artists and presenters for exhibiting, and nor will there be any payment to them for their presence. The exhibition will be set up on Wednesday, 13th October, and officially opened on Thursday 14th October. It will close on the last day of the Festival: Monday, October 18th.

Please note that requests arriving after the above date will not be taken into consideration.
